An opportunity to acquire individual and often unique pieces. Over many years, as you can imagine, we have assembled a considerable quantity of sketches, informal scribbles, preliminary drawings, as well as proofs taken from the plate during the various stages in the production of my etchings. Hitherto we have not usually offered these for sale although much interest has been shown in items such as first state proofs - by their nature in line only - and the various stages of the plates' development thereafter, known in the commercial world as 'progressives'. Each of our portfolios comprises a specially selected collection of items based around a particular theme. All items will be signed as appropriate and each folio will contain at least one finished work from an actual finished edition, suitable for framing.
