Auction Sites
It has been brought to our attention by several collectors of Graham's work that items have appeared on these sites that may not be described accurately. This, more often than not, is unintentional on the part of the seller but do check authenticity with them prior to bidding if you are in any doubt.
We have been advised of instances when books have been described as 'rare' or 'out of print', encouraging higher bids, when, in fact, stocks of these books are still available at recommended retail prices and can be purchased from good book shops.
We have also heard of greetings cards/posters/reproductions of watercolours (originally used legitimately in calendars) etc. being framed. This is not a problem if you are aware of their provenance.
It is also advisable to check condition of 'genuine' etchings etc. as often the cleaning of acid damage, staining etc. could add considerably to the price you pay.
We are pleased if a collector can get a genuine 'bargain' to add to their collection, but do take care.

Portfolio Collections
A rare opportunity to acquire individual and often unique pieces.
Over many years we have assembled a considerable quantity of sketches, informal scribbles, preliminary drawings, as well as proofs taken from the plate during the various stages in the production of Graham's etchings (known as 'progressives').
Great interest has been shown in these items, which hitherto have not been offered for sale.
Each portfolio comprises a specially selected collection of these pieces based around a particular theme. All items will be signed as appropriate and each folio will contain at least one finished work from an actual finished edition, suitable for framing.
The following is a list of Portfolio Collections which have been sold -

Rare Availability and Early Etchings
We have now added titles to our website under this section going back to 1977. We will be adding to this list on a regular basis but if there is a particular title you are interested in, please contact us and we will see if an example is available.
If you are considering purchasing books, Graham will be pleased to inscribe them for you. We will also include with your purchase of books a small selection of Graham's greetings cards and our Shakespeare book mark. |
