WATERCOLOURS
Graham Clarke has produced watercolours continuously since he was a small boy. For many years he has kept sketch books which provide reference and reminders for the etchings. The finished watercolours appear in his books and also in their own right individually or as part of a more general one man show. Two such exhibitions have been held at the distinguished galleries of Wildenstein & Co. Ltd. of Bond Street, London in 1990 and 1993.

ETCHINGS
Graham Clarke's characteristic 'arch topped' etchings are produced entirely by hand using processes two hundred years "out of date", from etching the copper plate, printing with the hand driven press to the hand colouring. Such techniques are increasingly rare as graphic technology rushes forward.

PORTFOLIO COLLECTIONS
An opportunity to acquire individual and often unique pieces.
Over many years, as you can imagine, we have assembled a considerable quantity of sketches, informal scribbles, preliminary drawings, as well as proofs taken from the plate during the various stages in the production of my etchings.
Hitherto we have not usually offered these for sale although much interest has been shown in items such as first state proofs - by their nature in line only - and the various stages of the plates' development thereafter, known in the commercial world as 'progressives'.
Each of our portfolios comprises a specially selected collection of items based around a particular theme. All items will be signed as appropriate and each folio will contain at least one finished work from an actual finished edition, suitable for framing.

RARE AVAILABILITY & EARLY ETCHINGS
Since setting up the website we have received many enquiries from collectors of Graham's work asking for availability of some of the early and rare etchings.
We have now started to add titles to our website. We will be adding to this list on a regular basis but if there is a particular title you are interested in, please contact us and we will see if an example is available. As stocks are limited, orders will be fulfilled on a first come, first served basis.

BLOCKPRINTS
Graham's wife Wendy recently discovered a parcel of lino and woodblocks produced by Graham for his diploma show when at the Royal College of Art in 1964. More than 40 years later they have at last been editioned, having been printed by his son, Jason on their rare 1825 handpress.
These are joined by a collection of new images using the same medium, with more to follow in due course.
